Connect groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why connect groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
A connect group looks like friends having dinner, teams playing football or people studying a book. At it's core, a connect group is a small gathering of people and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. You can expect to build friendships with others through a common activity, engage in life giving conversation and request prayer.
Connect Groups meet all year round for four months cycles each time — September-December, January-April, May-August. During each cycle groups meet weekly or fortnightly. Connect groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life, so even if you can’t attend every meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.
Leading a connect group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about serving others by giving them a place to connect. Hosting a group is simple—choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. We help you every step of the way beginning with initial training then with ongoing coaching and support.
