We Are Looking For A PA To Our Lead Pastors.

At Home Church we believe our jobs are a calling. You won’t just get a job description; you’ll hear a story. We are passionate about using our talents for God’s purposes and that’s why we’ve dedicated our careers to a ministry, not just a job title. Our life and our work are centered around connecting people with Jesus and His Church.

Are you a person who enjoys diverse work in a fast paced environment? Do you enjoy coupling your administrative strengths with exceptional service, project management, and problem solving? Do you have a desire to turn your career into your calling? We are currently seeking someone to be a PA to our Lead Pastors. This position is full-time and requires related experience and/or education.

 

You Are:

  • Able to assist with diary management.

  • Able to collate information for reports as required.

  • Able to screen calls and gate keep relationships.

  • Able to plan for meetings including senior leadership/board meetings.

  • Able to to book travel and organise trip itineraries.

  • Able to assist with day-to-day management responsibilities, planning events and special projects as needed.

  • Able to work closely with staff and senior leadership team.

  • Willing to assist Lead Pastors in family related matters if/when required.

  • Able to coordinate guest minister visits.

  • Willing to assist Lead Pastors at various events/gatherings.

  • Flexible, hard working and have a hands on approach to ministry.

  • Living out Home Church’s core values and beliefs.

It Would Help If You Are:

  • Experienced in working in a similar role.

  • Awesome at communicating and relating to others.

  • A big thinker, believe the impossible is possible, and know the local church is the hope of the world.

  • Highly autonomous with a positive attitude.

  • Excellent at interpersonal skills both verbally and in writing.

  • Excellent in attention to detail with ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Have an understanding of Google Drive/Documents/Internet.

  • Provide span of care to staff and members.

  • Share responsible for the execution of ministry across the life of the church.

We are currently seeking a full-time Graphic Design and Social Media Specialist who possess growing leadership skills, is able to focus on the details while understanding the larger vision, and is fully bought in to the mission of Home Church. If you are passionate about the ministry of Home Church and feel your gifts, skills, and talents would be well suited for this position, keep reading for more information.

 

You are:

  • A driven self-starter who’s able to prioritise and manage your time well.

  • A visual communicator who thrives on collaboration and teamwork.

  • Constantly chasing excellence without sacrificing efficiency.

  • Willing to have a flexible work schedule that will sometimes include odd hours and weekends.

  • Proactive in developing in-the-moment visual content for channels such as Instagram Stories, Twitter and more.

  • Constantly learning and honing your craft, staying aware of the latest design trends, and innovating the newest ways to use them to their fullest potential.

You will:

  • Spend time thinking about how the latest changes to a social media platform can help us communicate our message.

  • Work in Adobe Creative Suite (or design programs) to create original designs that follow brand standards for Home Church.

  • Use and optimise existing content to best engage with people on social media.

  • Capture and edit video for Home Church—technical knowledge and photography skills are a plus.

  • Craft engaging content at a very quick pace on projects that are turned around within hours, not days.

  • Work closely with the lead team to coordinate visual assets for social media campaigns.

  • Collaborate with Home Church ministry leaders, Filmmakers, Photographers, and Designers to effectively convey visual stories through social media.
